Racket Brook #10

The main drift is perfectly straight and goes down at about a ten degree angle. It takes about an hour and fifteen minutes to walk to the bottom where it "T"s off into water both ways. On the way down the slope there are 22 "Y"s to the left and right of the main slope. Some of these gangways go for a ways and come to intersections while others are caved in. This is probably one of our favorite mines because of easy accessability and safety. There are also many cool things to see in this mine, plus it's an easy walk.

Update- As of the late winter of '05 the mine has been bat gated.
